Unable to install the AHCI or RAID driver using the F6 installation procedure. If your USB floppy drive is not recognized, try a different USB floppy drive.

Hi, I understand that the floppy drive is not shown in the Windows Explorer on your Windows 8.1 computer, though it is listed in the “ Device Manager”. It would be great if you can provide more information regarding this issue: 1) Is your computer custom-built? 2) Are you using the external USB floppy drive? What is the make and model? 3) Which was the previous operating system that you used on this computer prior to Windows 8.1? Was the floppy drive working properly in the previous operating system?

4) How did you reinstall the drivers for the floppy drive? Did you download and install it from the ASRock website?

Please try these steps and check if that helps. Please follow these steps, to access the disk management: a) Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard and select “ Disk Management ” from that list.
